RED is a new multi media interactive performance which use live music, film and theatre.
Over the past six months Kinetic investigated the common folk tale of little RED ridding hood and it's various incarnations. The company deconstructed the tale to explore its contemporary relevance in todays society. The company had been particularly interested in developing their physical vocabulary in their interpretation of this fable.
This piece premiered at the mPOWER mFEST to sell out audiences at the Macrobert Centre, Stirling on the 30th July - 2nd August, With favourable reviews
"With so many young people and so much creative ambition on board, RED promises to be a prolific late-night finale to mFEST."
Alison Scott The Sunday Herald 19th Jul 2010
This Saturday the 4th of September is your last chance to see RED. The performance is at Buckhaven Theatre (KY8 1BQ) tickets are free doors open at 7.15pm.

The Kinetic Effect
Posted Wed 12/5/10 by Andrew Cumming

Daniel, one of our young leaders and stars of our latest film. No doubt this blog will embarrass the life out of him.
Hello all. I'm just popping up from the media basement to let you know that our latest film 'The Kinetic Effect' is available to view now. It is an extra special film because it deals specifically with the community-driven aspect of our work and it's all about... Kinetic.
We were commissioned by The Playfield Institute in Cupar to make a short film focussing on the work we do with young people, and how it relates to and improves their personal and mental well being. The film was a real Kinetic family effort, featuring interviews with young people, staff - past and present - and original music from our design director Paul!

Just thought I'd let everyone know that the cool little website for Kinetic's original mixed media production 'Play.Stop.Rewind.' is online and full of photos, cast and crew blogs and awesome behind the scenes video courtesy of Abbie, our young filmmaking wonder kid.
The best thing is, the site will be updated regularly as we warm up for the tour this summer... so the only way to stay on top is to sign up for updates!
